Abstract The Caohecheng albite deposit in Benxi County, Liaoning Province, is occurred as lenticular and vein in the Gaoliduntai plagiogranite of Liaohe tectonic cycle, genetically belonging to magmatic type of deposit. The average grades of Na2 and K2O in the deposit are 7.25% and 0.51%, respectively. The albite deposit has a wide market utilization prospects. Analysis results show that the albite ore can be used in the fields like ceramic batching, glass flux, etc.
